Thanksgiving Week - Nov. 24th

Here's last weeks re-cap!

We made it through another week! Another crazy week!! :) Our full week started off with coming home from a weekend of deer hunting at the Farm. Courtney came home without anything, but she's set on getting "the big one!" Monday it was unpacking, cleaning up, and a little bit of shopping. Tuesday was a busy day. Full of running errands, Boutique stuff, and another snow meeting!! Once Wednesday rolled around it was time to watch Courtney play the bells in Chapel (which she seemed to do very well at, but I think all the kids did a great job and it was really cute watching them!), more errands, lots of Boutique work, and an evening at home!!! Thursday was a non stop day that ended with Kayla's soccer team's end of the season party at Incredible Pizza. All of the girls had a great time eating and playing games. Next thing we knew it was Friday!! Finally, the weekend was here and it was time to relax. But oh wait! Relax? What is that?? Friday Dave was off so we did a little bit of shopping that needed to be done, had lunch with the girls at school, and made some yummy gerbers at home for dinner. For those of you wondering, as you can tell, we did not go to the farm this past weekend. Courtney was very upset with me, actually really mad. But she did get over it and we had a nice weekend at home doing a lot of things we needed to get done. Saturday there was a soccer game for Courtney, a birthday party for Kayla, flower arrangements made, and dinner. Sunday we all got up and went to the 25th anniversary celebration service for our church. It was a nice and long 2 hour service. But it actually went by pretty quickly and to my surprise the girls did very well with the exception of the last 20 minutes or so. After the service there was a yummy luncheon that was prepared by Chef Mike! The rest of our day was filled with cleaning house, doing laundry, and getting ready for our busy upcoming Thanksgiving week!!

Here's the news for this week.....

Can you believe it? Here we are Thanksgiving week!! It's so hard to believe on Thursday we will be sitting down to have Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Seems like we just did that. It's amazing how quickly the year has flow by. And when you thing about it, 5 weeks away is HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Anyway, this upcoming week.....the girls have school Monday and Tuesday and a half of day on Wednesday. Luckily our evenings are open this week...well at least for right now they are! Thursday I;m looking forward to a relaxing day!!!!! And once Friday rolls around, here comes the Christmas decorations!!!!!! I can't wait for a weekend of decorating!

We want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Until next week, have a great week!!
